F.R.E.E.D.O.M. is about promoting true survival which is doing things that promote your life, freedom and F.E.O. (Future Economic Opportunities) Tomorrow’s Workplace offers the Freedom Program which is designed for out of school youth ranging from ages 17 to 21. Out of school youth is defined as high school drop outs, high school graduates or college students who test below basic skills deficiency. This program is developed to assist out of school youth with attaining their educational goals by providing direct academic support. In addition to teaching positive mores/values, FREEDOM will work to reduce at risk behavior and assist youth in understanding how to maintain healthy lifestyle decisions that will further their future freedom, economic development, educational achievements and leadership abilities. The program model will be designed to include a holistic approach to the multi dimensional problems that the youth population faces, in particular youth that are living within impoverished communities and are tied to at risk behaviors and/or have an attachment to the justice system. Within the FREEDOM program youth will develop skills and be armed with the basic skills needed to overcome challenges when facing poverty, educational gaps, drugs/alcohol abuse, neglect, emotional and psychological issues. |
