HVGTP: Tomorrow's Workplace is a member of the Hudson Valley Green Talent Pipeline Partnership which promotes the region’s green economy -- strengthening the market for green products and services and opening up opportunities for green talent. This “Green Pipeline” of workers and innovative workforce development serves as a model for the entire region as well as the state. The HVGTP is one of several groups working toward promotion of the green economy.

Rockland Business Association Green Council: The Green Council is committed to assisting members in realizing bottom line benefits of going green; empowering members to find the sustainable solutions best suited for their businesses by providing information on available educational, service and product resources they need; advocating for members on related environmental issues affect the business community. Up-and-coming green jobs in Rockland County include:
Weatherization: Decreasing energy drain and expenditure by minimizing the effects of the elements. Includes installing insulation and glass protectants, caulking, replacing inefficient doors and weather-stripping.
Energy Reduction/Home Performance Audits: Reduces energy costs by doing such tasks as replacing light bulbs with CFL or LED alternatives, increasing the efficiency of HVAC systems and decreasing water usage.
Sales: Green companies in the county will have a growing needs for competent sales professionals who can promote both products and services. The greater the ability to sell products and services, the greater the demand for weatherization, energy reduction and home performance audits.
