Joint Urban Manpower Program
JUMP is a cooperative effort by the New York State Department of Transportation
(NYS-DOT), New York City College of Technology (City Tech), and the New York consulting engineering community.
JUMP works with New York engineering firms by recruiting and training economically disadvantaged individuals for entry-level drafting and construction inspection positions. This program, which provides 800 hours of classroom and on-the-job training, is a cooperative effort of architectural and engineering professional societies and the New York City Technical College.
